Alpha Whores

For fans of Alice In Chains, Tool, Deftones.  AlphaWhores is an alternative rock / metal duo from Panama, Central America, formed by Massiel Pinzón and Juan Carlos García de Paredes. In March 2026 AlphaWhores return for their second tour in Europe to celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed second album, ‘You Can Come Out Now’, which includes the singles “Bloodsport”, Beautiful Music, Awful Person” and “Pirate Mode”. The new album is available to listen to or buy on vinyl now and exclusive new merchandise will be available at the tour dates.  Says AlphaWhores about the new album: “You Can Come Out Now” is a bold, emotionally charged journey through the fragile terrains of identity, mental health, betrayal, rage, and resilience. Each track reveals a different facet of human vulnerability, from quiet inner chaos to explosive catharsis. The album refuses to shy away from discomfort—it embraces it, shaping raw experience into sound. It’s a reckoning and a release, a sonic shedding of old skin to make space for something more honest, more awake. This isn’t music for the faint-hearted. It’s music for those who’ve been to the edge and came back louder.” Massiel and Juan Carlos started working together over twenty years ago when they were both members of the Panama based alternative rock band Mabí and they’ve collaborated on various musical projects since then.  In 2021, following the end of longstanding personal relationships for them both, Massiel and Juan Carlos found themselves in the studio together jamming and making new music, as a way to help them process the changes happening in their lives. The studio sessions were so successful that they decided to make it into a new music project and AlphaWhores was born.  On the band’s name, Massiel and Juan Carlos say: “Our name is a play on words from the Spanish word alfajores, which are pastries very common in South America. It's just a joke for whoever gets it, and some people have lol. Not trying to be edgy or off-putting, rather just silly.” AlphaWhores released their debut about, I (‘one’), in January 2024 preceded by the singles ‘Same Team’, ‘Raw Nerve’, and ‘GTO.’ As well as international touring, AlphaWhores are currently working on their third album.  Support: Emperors LairEmperors Lair are a psychedelic stoner doom band founded near Frankfurt in 2018. After releasing a purely instrumental demo, the band reorganized in June 2019 and expanded their sound with the addition of singer Sebastian. This lineup recorded their debut album, “Dare Mighty Things”. They performed these songs at joint shows ith international bands, including Alphawhores and Fvzz Popvli. After many concerts together, it became clear that the musicians of the previous lineup did not share the same goals in some respects. The band therefore amicably parted ways with founding members Luis and Djast. They were replaced by Max and Markus. Both are experienced not only in live performances but also in songwriting, so Emperors Lair quickly got to work on writing their second album. The release is scheduled for the end of 2026. Stylistically, the new record is more focused on the core elements of stoner rock, doom, and psychedelic, but still leaves room for progressive elements.
