On Saturday March 7, Dolle Mina’s and Nieuwe Oogst join forces for a special Nachtparade edition. FEM RAGE is a night of music, performance and outspoken feminine power. Taking place in the spirit of International Women’s Day, this evening celebrates feminist voices, queer expression and the radical act of taking up space on stage and beyond. Crybabies (live) Have you ever wondered what a thunderstorm would sound like under clear blue skies? Crybabies channel exactly that sensation. Heavy beats, fuzzy dreamy guitars and melancholic lyrics create a sound that is both tender and destructive. Inspired by the riot grrrl movement, Crybabies blend light-hearted humor with feminist rage and fierce bubble grunge. Expect a live show that confronts, moves and liberates. Natsumi Scarlett Amsterdam-based burlesque sensation Natsumi Scarlett combines the art of sensuality with fire performances and aerial acrobatics. Her theatrical stage persona, sharp sense of humor and love for the extravagant have made her one of the Netherlands’ leading burlesque pioneers. DJ Sjaak Amsterdam-based DJ Sjaak has been behind the decks for over seven years. She’s a regular in underground clubs, but has also played iconic venues like Paradiso and SkateCafé. This past summer, she performed at major festivals including Lowlands and Down The Rabbit Hole. Her sets are always high-energy and irresistibly danceable, ranging from post- and eggpunk to darkwave and rock ’n’ roll, seamlessly blending into the most dancefloor-ready habibi funk and goth. Open Stage FEM RAGE is more than a show. The open stage creates space for voices that demand to be heard. With a focus on spoken word, but open to all forms of expression, this is a platform for rage, love, resistance, humor and everything in between. This program is part of De Week van de Haarlemse Nacht. For an entire week, venues across the city present a wide range of festive and cultural programs, culminating in the Nachtparade as the grand finale on Friday March 6 and Saturday March 7.
