Er spricht sich herum, dieser unaufgeregte, tiefgehend poetische Edinburgh Indie Rock, der an Frightened Rabbit, We Were Promised Jetpacks oder The National erinnert, aber längst eine eigene, unverwechselbare Form angenommen hat.
Dass ihre Musik inzwischen nicht nur in Schottland, sondern quer durch UK, Europa und die USA Anklang findet, überrascht kaum – schließlich führte genau dieser Sound die Band in den letzten Jahren von kleinen Bühnen bis hin zu ausverkauften Headline-Shows im legendären Barrowland Ballroom (Glasgow) und der ikonischen Usher Hall in Edinburgh mit je über 2000 Fans.
Die aktuelle Platte Everything’s Nothing Forever Again (2024) zieht weiterhin Kreise und hat der Band zuletzt auch in Deutschland und Europa erneut volle, oft ausverkaufte Clubshows beschert.

Poetic lyricism and soaring guitars meet in songs that combine crafted songwriting with heartfelt Edinburgh indie rock, reminiscent of bands like Frightened Rabbit, Snow Patrol, The National, We Were Promised Jetpacks and Idlewild. A growing following across Scotland, the UK, Europe and the United States has taken the band to new heights, with sold-out headline shows at the famous Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom and Edinburgh's iconic Usher Hall seeing wrest storm some of the biggest stages in their home country.
A growing international audience is taking wrest to new stages, no longer the best-kept secret in indie rock circles. The release of 2024 album Everything's Nothing Forever Again saw the band reach new heights on Spotify, drawing legions of devoted new fans from further afield.
With a run of sold out headline shows across Germany and the Netherlands under their belt, as well as future tour plans for Australia and the US, wrest stand poised for bigger stages across the world, as one of Scotland’s most promising independent breakthrough acts.
