Dauer: 90 Min.

-----

Following This resting, patience, the duet that premiered at Tanztage Berlin 2024, Ewa Dziarnowska returns to Sophiensæle with a new group work. Here the stage is a space of repetition and possibility, where formality is paired with improvisation, labor with leisure, and the theatrical with the casual. The work builds on the understanding of dance as a practice that is at once a relational tool, a cultural object and a means of personal reckoning, becoming and resistance – a way of thinking and being in the world. It brings into relief the core reality of performance as a physical encounter rather than a visual presentation – its sensation lingering, slipping in and out of articulation.
