Das 2006 im türkischen Bursa gegründete Dark-Wave/Post-Punk-Duo, bestehend aus Volkan Caner (Gesang, Gitarre und Songwriting) und Doruk Ozturkcan (Schlagzeug, Synthesizer und Produktion) füllt mittlerweile Konzerthallen und zieht zu Festivals in ganz Europa und den Americas. She Past Away experimentiert mit alter und neuer Ästhetik der Synthesizermusik sowie markerschütternden Gitarrenkompositionen und hat so einen einzigartigen Sound, eine eigene Haltung und Sensibilität entwickelt, die durch minimalistische, auf Türkisch gesungene Texte vermittelt wird und das Publikum sowohl auf Platte als auch bei ihren Live-Auftritten auf eine atmosphärische und epische Reise mitnimmt.
Drei international erfolgreiche Studioalben und einige EPs zeugen von ihrem Ansatz. Im Mai 2020 feierte die Band ihr zehnjähriges Jubiläum mit dem Remix-Album „X”, das Remixe von Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon, Clan of Xymox, Front 242, Lebanon Hanover und vielen anderen enthält.
